Me too! I was really looking forward to this series, ever since I first saw the trailer over the summer and not just because I love Jason Isaacs. The Pilot was amazing and I loved the way it didn't make the mythology of the show over complicated.

I'm sure they'll get deeper into something as the show goes on and I'm looking forward to it.

Me too! I've seen various theories on what is going on for Jason's character...but I'm happy to go on the journey the show takes me on! It was a brilliant pilot though :-)

I just saw it, too.  NBC has it available online to watch in case you missed it, like idiot me.  (If you drive around Los Angeles, you see these giant billboards everywhere with Jason Isaacs eyes-closed face on every freeway.) So I saw it online, with my laptop hdmi'd to my flatscreen - interesting occasionally slightly-off-sync way to watch it.  Can't FF through the commercials, tho.  >:(

It was quite brilliant - loved the visual style, the two "worlds" lit differently, one a cool-white and the other with this gritty grey full of rain.  My own awful fear would be that in his "real' world, both his wife and his son would be dead...

Yes - there are so many possibilities as to what is really going on. I wondered if a) they're both dead or b) he's dead or c) some weird inter dimensional thing is happening!

I thought it was significant that in one reality they said he was over the drink limit but he swears he wasn't. That sort of implies that maybe there's a dimensional thing going on.

Who knows! I'm just enjoying the ride for now - it's an excellent start!

I'm out of my mind but feel free to leave a message.

Yes that 2nd episode really shook things up! Note that his boss said they'd wiped out 'his family' - not just his son or wife. And she referred, in talking to him, to 'a great tragedy' rather than a specific loss. Maybe they're both dead and his subconscious is trying to alert him to the fact they were murdered.

I hate it when I'm joking and then it comes true.  Sorta. Maybe.  And they went right to it on the second ep!  Fastest mid-season cliffhanger ever...
