Merry Christmas

I’m just popping on to wish you all a lovely, happy, peaceful time this holiday season. I haven’t had time to write a Christmas story this year, and as I’m not in a fandom at the moment I don’t know who I’d write it about anyway! In addition, I always find that it’s quite a rush to get a Christmas story done in time, and I don’t know that people really have the time to read them at Christmas, either, which has sometimes left me feeling rather sad when I’ve poured a lot of effort into getting a story out there.

My working life has been so busy for the past year that I haven’t had much writing time. However, I am more than half way through a new novel so I hope to be able to make a happy announcement about it some time in the new year.
Regular visitors to my site since it opened in 1998 (GULP!) will know that at times I’m incredibly prolific but also there have been times in the past fifteen years when I’m a little quieter – that’s just how my muse seems to work.  I can’t predict when it’ll happen or what will trigger it!

However, I’ve written tons of Christmas stories over the years, so I thought I’d list them all here for you to revisit some old favourites.  Or, if you’d prefer, you can visit the holiday tag to find out more about each story.

T’was the Friday Night Before Christmas, and all Through the White House…

Merry Christmas Xanthe. Hope you have a fabulous day and that the New Year calms down for you so you can get to what you really want to be doing. May all your wishes and dreams come true and thank you so much for all you share with us, the wonderful stories and Universes you allow us to share!

Xanthe, I thoroughly enjoyed reading all your Christmas stories, it was hard to decide which one was my favourite. It was a toss up between Frozen and Silent Night…I settled on Silent Night.

Oh and if you were to write more Fan fiction, I would love you to write in Sherlock fandom, your insight into John and Sherlock was spot on in Silent Night . Although I do understand that you are probably busy with your next novel.

I hope you had a great Christmas and have a fabulous New Year.

    Hi Cathy,

Thank you so much! It’s lovely that you read all the stories! LOL re Sherlock – as I got bitten by that bug just yesterday! It’s not Johnlock, although I like that too, but I was more fascinated with the Mycroft/Sherlock relationship after seeing The Empty Hearse. I hope to post it soon.

Happy New year to you too!
