Podfic - The First Collar

Could you Please Thank All the Wonderful people who record
all the Priceless podfic.. for me...
I tried to do it on your site but I couldn't do the letters in the box thingy... yep RJ still a technical genius...
My health has suffered for a long time and my eye's aren't very good anymore... diabetes and some not so great complications really suck for an old perv like me...
My nieces' usually write and read my emails for me but this one I wanted to try to write myself... jeez I
used to type like the wind... slog.. peck..slog..peck..
I've been listening to all of the podfic my nieces'
download for me... Thank the gods for folks that will take time from their busy lives to do things like that... and for free are a literal godsend for
folks like me...
My younger niece always wants to read for me but I had to say no because she's only 11 and still thinks boys are icky and I don't want to fry her brains so instead she finds non icky fic to read to me LOL

Hi!
I've compiled a number of podfics of Xanthe's stories (and almost 1700 'books overall) into podbook (audiobook/m4b) format for numerous podficcers.
After recently doing General & Dr Sheppard for Ceruleanscarab, I was asked by a listener if I could do the same for The First Collar, which I'll be happy to do pending, of course, Naurel Greenleaf's permission.
My previous podbooks of Xanthe's works can be found on the <a href="http://audiofic.jinjurly.com">Audiofic Archive</a> if you'd like to see any of them.
The benefit of the this format, of course, is that even very long podfics can be compiled into just a few parts (up to about 15 hours each part), they store in iTunes with Books, not Music, and they auto bookmark. Also, each mp3 file is treated as a chapter, so listeners can move backward and forward chapter by chapter if they need to.
Let me know if you'd like me to do this; as an Archiver, I'd also be happy to add it to the <a href="http://audiofic.jinjurly.com">Audiofic Archive</a> in both formats if you'd like.

I am really happy to see this being posted but I do have one technical issue. When you name the chapters please be sure all the forms and spacings match. Some titles have underscores and in some things are written in full and others are abbreviated or there different spacings. This means when you download them they do not line up properly in ITunes or any other audio player. I had to go in and manually make them all match so they would play in the proper order.

Thanks for pointing this out - this kind of thing is always useful. Naurel and Jacci have both seen it so we should be able to do it better going forward.

The links to Chapter 2, part 1 are wrong -one is the same as Chapter 1 part 1 and one is the same as chapter 2 part 2 Thanks for letting us know! We'll check it out. That has been corrected now, sorry about that.
