I loved Coming Home but this one surpasses it. This is OUR John and Rodney and it's fantastic to see how they react to the visitors. Loved how John slowly courts Rodney then when they get together, how many similarities there are in John's behaviour compared to the general. This one is hands down my favourite and hot as hell!! Thanks for this!

I'm not sure what was hotter, the dirty-talk (John Sheppard, please, if you exist somewhere out there in the way Xanthe discribes you, please record (film or audio) yourself when having sex with Rodney McKay. I am willing to pay, thank you in advance) or all the little declarations of love.
Hmmm... maybe the first on a short term base and the other more long term? Something like that.
Loved it once again! (And I really think you should make some sort of standalone piece about the Third Universe, just saying...)

The first part of this story always tickles my funny bone. Dunno why, I think it might be because I keep picturing what would happen if they turned up in reality. I've got this feeling that some people would start screaming for a witch hunt or something.

Lovely story. The comments from the two Alternate dimensions characters seemed remarkably apt. Certainly I've often had the feeling that, in England where I live, people can't deal with sex. They either go overboard with sexual innuendo and make it the focus of comedy which only seems lewd, or they retreat to the Victorian principles where chair legs were covered in material because it would have been considered unseemly to be able to see them. Not to mention the whole 'lie back and think of England' view on the sex itself.
I haven't actually ever seen Stargate Atlantis, though I watched a few episodes of Stargate SG1 a couple of years ago. Still, a very enjoyable story and I loved the character development. I wish you had put a quick bit in where Rodney and John from the other world explain their experience to the people back in their world.

Thank you! I was going to follow Rodney and John back in their universe but then I moved on from SGA so that story never got told. Too many stories to tell! LOL!

As promised, I just read General and Doctor Sheppard. I have to say it was brilliant! Wow, you can just imagine the shock of meeting your other self but SO totally different.
The sniping between the 2 Rodney's was so well written, I could actually hear them in my head. Poor McKay! He got there in the end but what a struggle!!
I loved it.
Okay, so I've read this one and Coming Home, I've read Ties that Bind by Keira and I've read Time Heals by WritinginCT. Are there any others based around this universe that I should read? Also, are any of you writing any more, please because I would love to read them?

I'm not sure whether you've read all my BDSM universe fics - they are Coming Home, General and Doctor Sheppard, The First Collar and Hiding in Plain Sight.
I know you mean well, but the BDSM universe was my baby - I created it. If others choose to write in it then there's nothing I can do to stop them, but I am certainly not privy to their thought processes about it or whether they are writing in it anymore. For myself, I can say I'm sure I will write more stories in this universe but I'll have to wait until the right scenario comes to mind and makes me want to write it.

When I originally read this tale I was immediately captivated.
I remember staying up into the wee hours of the morning and
arriving at work trying to figure out how I could sneak some time on
the internet to spend more time in the 'verse.
The new twist on all the characters was most entertaining. It remains
a very very favorite and highly recommended. I love the entire series.
It added a lot of enjoyment to my Atlantis watching as well!

Note: a testimony to a great writer when you can read a story
repeatedly over the years and it is as good as the first time.

Loved, loved, loved this story. Though I blame you entirely for the fact that I only got two hours sleep because I absolutely could not stop reading until I finished it. I never thought I'd see sunrise from the other side. :) Of course, I had to start re-reading it the next day because it really is just that good. It left me grinning ear-to-ear and sighing with happiness at the end. Brilliant work!
