Vidding Notes: I love this song and it seemed perfect for a post-Requiem Mulder/Skinner vid. Skinner is so desperate to get Mulder back, to the extent of digging him up from the dead against all sane advice - you have to wonder what the canon reason is for his total devastation at Mulder's loss but I know what the slashy reason is! This song, with its theme of sudden loss and the overwhelming need to search for the lost loved one seemed perfect. I tried to keep to a broadly chronological progression telling the story of the abduction and following Skinner's various attempts to find Mulder during Season 8 together with flashbacks and memories.
