Vidding Notes: Lord of the Rings is the fandom of my good friend, Penny, and this is a birthday vid for her :-) I chose this song partly as a commentary on the all-round slashiness we see in LOTR - and partly because of a certain GAP ad that Orlando Bloom once appeared in... I think the song really works as a reference to the slashy relationships - the vid isn't from one person's viewpoint and concentrates on the two big slashy relationships between Boromir and Aragorn, and Sam and Frodo, although I had to put a little bit of Legolas in there because he looks cute in those ears and Penny likes him <g>
