It’s an idea I had in my mind for two years before I decided it really was time to write it. It’s the first fanfic I’ve written from an Original Character’s first person viewpoint, and it’s very everyday and gentle. I was intrigued by the idea of viewing the X Files universe from the outside, with all its confusion and darkness, through the eyes of a relative innocent. I wrote this for myself, first and foremost, because I wanted to explore something a little bit different.
