Notes: This fic might be a tad controversial. I’ve tried to find a plausible explanation for the way Tony has been portrayed on NCIS since around mid-season 6. I believe it’s a valid interpretation of the character’s viewpoint, but not everyone will like it (which is fine). This story is all from Tony’s pov; I’ve deliberately kept the viewpoints and motivations of the other characters ambiguous (rather like the show!) so please don’t think I’m judging any of the other characters.
