Okay, honestly this is pretty much shamless begging on my part
Two rules
1. Must be slash!
2. Nothing by xanthe (cause we all agree she’s utterly awsome and all her fics are a must read, and well…we’re on a forum of shamless devotion to her, so I think it can be assumed we’ve all read her stuff).
My contribution to get the ball rolling:
Falls Chance Ranch by Rolf and Ranger.

This is an epic. ‘Four books’ and lots side stories and still going. It is a wonderfull piece of original slash. It fetures numerous m/m pairings, one open relationship between five men and a lot of domestic discipline. It starts Dale, a burnt out CEO who is sent to Falls Chance – a working sheep ranch in Wyoming – were the other main charaters run a program for said burntout CEOs “retraining bad habits into good ones”.
It starts off a little slow and most of the sex is implied rather than explicit – but it is a very worthwhile read if you’ve got a little (or lot) of time on your hands. -

I loved the Deviations series by Chris Owen and Jodie Payne

There are five books in all, Domination, Submission, Bondage, Dicipline and Safe Words.
They follow Vetanarian and Dominant Tobias and his sub Noah who is a city cop.
I fell in love with these books instantly. They cover Noah’s and Tobias` emotionally painful first scene and move on through a fledgling relationship/training to Master and collard sub. Both of these men have a history which has jaded them with Noah being hurt by his first Master leaving him with trust issues that Tobias works to break down.
Everything is not plain sailing for these guys. Phan is Tobias` last love and although the sub couldn’t commit to Tobias the way he wanted to he’s not really wanting to let go completely.
Noah is just the loveliest character, he’s thoughtful and kind and strong and somehow for me he’s the rock that both Tobias and Phan tie themselves to.
They are well worth the read

Oh, I really loved Falls Chance! Riley is the sweetes brat ever
But book #4 hasn’t been updated in over a year (although there was a side story posted last February) and I’m starting to doubt it will be finished
Which is really a pity. I was starting to get interested in Mason’s story. I felt there was definitely more to him than what met the eyes. And I love all the intriguing and round characters and the dynamics of the family.
Nick and Damien were such a cute couple, too!
I love to read slash-y BDSM/domestic discipline fiction/fanfiction (even if it’s a fandom I’m not familiar with, if the story’s worthy). Any recs?

A very very big thank you to Altyerre, for rec’ing that site and those stories!!! I like the slow pace of the story and the developing of the characters. I just finished book 1, now heading to book 2
Only problem I found with it: going to bed at a reasonable time is not possible while reading the story! I think I need my own Flynn…or Jasper…or Paul…hmmm To add a bit of original (short) stories I like, especially from this writer Megan Derr http://maderr.com/?page_id=2
The Free Reads section holds lots of short stories as well as a few serials. The stories are fantasy/fairytale genre, romantic and sometimes just silly *g* Easy and funny reads!
The next site is from Jane Davitt http://www.janedavitt.com/ (also http://archiveofourown.org/use…..JaneDavitt ) It holds fics from a wide range of fandoms, in varying lengths and ratings.

My favourite non-Xanthe slash story (and there really aren’t very many, once if found Xanthe i stopped looking for the most part) is Fenchurch’s The Bribe, which can be found on her LJ. It is a slavefic where John is enticed to join the Atlantis team with a bribe in the form of Rodney.
Absolutely love this story!!!

Take Clothes Off As Directed isn’t a homage – it was intended to be a slapdown to me in that fandom. If you read some of the comments you’ll get a clear idea of what’s going on. It’s a particularly nasty take on a BDSM universe – deliberately so. That sector of SGA fandom had a big problem with me and BDSM fics generally.

I’m sorry to hear that – I didn’t realize it, and as I said I’m not familiar with the fandom at all.
And I didn’t even read the comments.
I’m reading Moving toward acquiesce too. It’s a sweet fic so far. -
Not to worry – most people don’t know. I didn’t talk about it at the time. I can’t stand fandom wank and there was no point speaking out in that particular fandom as a certain sector of it were little Queen Bees who ran everything at that time and a whole bunch of people were quite scared of them. I didn’t want to involve my flist in a war – it’s not cool.
The fandom has changed since then and become a nicer place with fewer Queen Bees! I can’t stand cliqueyness or that kind of meanness masquerading as some kind of faux intellectual superiority, so I just left the fandom. I didn’t write anything else in it again after that until I did my crossover transition to NCIS with Hiding in Plain Sight. I was glad to be out of it to be honest – it wasn’t a friendly or welcoming fandom at that time.
Moving Towards Acquiescence is a lovely story. -
