You just can’t go wrong with it! That’s what annoyed me about the previous couple of seasons. No sense of jeopardy for anyone except the obvious candidate (endlessly).
XantheKeymasterWell with Gibbs and Tony it IS actually canon in my view, because of the headslaps!
XantheKeymasterLOL! I would SO love for Subterfuge to have been an actual XF episode *g*.
XantheKeymasterI just couldn’t make sense of the River Song arc – it didn’t seem to add up. Why the weird convoluted thing about the astronaut suit? Why kidnap her and brainwash her and then have it so any old person in an automated suit could kill the Dr? Why did the Dr marry her? It was all just weird!
I loved The Girl Who Waited – it was so well done.
And yeah – I’m looking forward to the Xmas special too. I hope it’s good – they can be a bit hit and miss! I really hope it’s a nice standalone – those have worked best for me so far.XantheKeymasterWhy thank you . I’m pleased with it.
And see – it’s NOT THAT HARD, CBS, to have boards that actually work and don’t screw up everything you write.XantheKeymasterAnd I do love the idea of John being the one who can make Rodney switch off by means of a nice, warm spanking *g*.
Oh yeah! That’s a lovely image!XantheKeymasterI love Rachel too! And I thought it was an excellent season premiere. In fact all 3 eps so far this season have been great. Poor woobie Tony! He had 2 woobie eps in a row! LOL!
XantheKeymasterOoh, like it Haggy! And I agree – Walter does have a certain versatility!
Also – go you! You TOTALLY are using these forums like a pro!XantheKeymasterI feel the same way TG! He’s THE most natural subby boy I’ve ever seen – but ONLY to Gibbs. I could imagine him with Walter in a sort of play scene but it’s so clear that Tony’s heart belongs to Gibbs – there’s no doubt at all that for him Gibbs is IT.

Tony isn’t sure what’s about to happen next, but he knows his answer. “I trust you, Gibbs,” he says, without any hesitation.
Gibbs runs a gentle hand through Tony’s hair. “Atta boy, Tony,” he whispers in Tony’s ear.
Then he takes hold of Tony’s hand, grabs the index finger, and, with a sudden unexpected jerk, breaks it. It makes a loud cracking sound, and Tony yowls in pain. He tries to draw his hand away, but Gibbs has it in an iron grip and won’t let go. Instead of releasing him, he breaks Tony’s second finger instead.
The crowd goes wild. They didn’t understand the kissing, or the gentle, face-to-face love-making that was so different from the primal rutting they expected. But this savage climax, after so much disorienting tenderness, is something they do understand.
Gibbs is still fixing him with that steadfast gaze, never once breaking eye contact. Tony nods and clings onto him, one arm wrapped around Gibbs’s body for support as he breaks Tony’s third finger. Tony screams and buries his head in Gibbs’s shoulder.

He is always tearing off on personal crusades and quests in order to find his missing sister or nail the conspiracy, even when Walter (and others!) tell him not to. I kind of admire that, but the “trust no-one” tag would make him a very hard sub to work with!
