I can’t believe I’m 60 today!
I’m writing this in advance of my birthday plans – but I think I’m ready, if the pics below are anything to go by ;-).
Here’s the itinerary for the 8th – 11th:
The Hunger Games onstage in town, a trip to an RHS garden centre, a visit to a Day Spa in Westminster, and a guided tour of the Royal Opera House courtesy of an old school friend, followed by shopping in Covent Garden.
This is a very ME itinerary – throw in some scones, cats, and two angsty men having a star-crossed love affair, and that’s pretty much me in a nutshell!
Honestly, I wasn’t going to make a fuss of my birthday because I really don’t care, but now I’ve made these plans, I’m really looking forward to them. I’ve worked my arse off all year, followed by the most horrendous illness that’s laid me low for the past few weeks, so I really just want to have a lovely time.
